Journey with Will as he traverses America.
A wonderful interplay between the ride experienced by a cyclist and reflections on life's journey. Having no cyclist experience, I was still very much pulled along for the ride myself. The author paints a multi-sensory picture of the places he rides, the people he meets and the emotion he feels. It was a pleasant read and an engaging and thought-provoking journal about parts of America I've not yet visited. Would highly recommend.
I really really enjoyed this book. It was filled with humor, insight and a desire by the rider to experience all that this journey would bring to him. There are so many passages that made me laugh out loud; Will is observant, funny, kind and self-deprecating. I believe he will encourage others to emulate his journey -- maybe not ALL the way cross country, but to pursue something significant in their lives. I understand that he's in training for another ride, by a different route, next year. GO, WILL!!
He is an excellent writer, I hope he writes more books!

Will provides an inspirational story of a man with a dream....to cross America on his bike. He writes of his many adventures on the way and his personal growth on the journey. A delightful read!
